You may have drifted…
The New Year buzz is gone, the Super Bowl is history, the Grammys are behind us, and life is back at full throttle.
This is when the promises we made to ourselves—and those New Year’s resolutions—quietly begin to drift. Not because we quit, but because we stop choosing to give them our full attention. We allow our monkey mind to wander back to familiar distractions and tell ourselves, “I’ll get to it later.”
Progress isn’t lost to complacency—it’s crowded out. It fades when commitment loosens its grip, focus slips, and our goals and dreams get pushed to the back burner by everything else screaming for our time.
Important because we don’t need more willpower, and we don’t need to push harder or psych ourselves up. We just need to recommit to what we say matters, and make intelligent decisions that align with our commitments. That’s it.
