Where's the beauty?

Beauty comes with a big payoff—people are drawn to it like treps to coffee. You are. I am. We all are.

And beauty isn’t just what we see—it’s what we feel. It’s that quiet pull, that sweet aroma that keeps us coming back for more. We’ll binge the album. Read the whole book. Buy the painting. Revisit our favorite actors. Return to the same dry cleaners, and tell our friends.

“A thing of beauty is a joy forever.”The poet John Keats was right when he wrote that line. Beauty isn’t a luxury—it’s what defines our humanity. It’s a whisper of what truly matters.

But in the hoopla of marketing, pitching, producing, selling, performing, or creating, we’re not always thinking about beauty—we’re thinking about getting it right, the timeline, the deal, the details of our work. Still, beauty sneaks in—right there in our persistence, our grit, our keep-going energy, and our commitment—despite doubt, fatigue, brain fog, or fear.

Important because when the noise dies down tonight, contemplate this notion of beauty, and ask yourself: Where’s the beauty in my work? In my life? Does it reflect what I believe? Does it light others up? Does it light me up?
